Condition assessment
At the start, we analyze physical and psycho-emotional condition, medical risks, symptom severity and the person’s ability to cope with everyday demands.
A comprehensive approach to support, treatment and recovery with separate pathways for patients and loved ones.
After diagnosis, the Redefine team selects the level of support according to the person’s condition, medical risks, emotional stability and the environment they are in. Treatment may take place in an inpatient, day treatment or outpatient format, and its intensity changes depending on the dynamics of recovery.
Before choosing a format
The eating disorder treatment format is not determined by diagnosis alone. We consider physical condition, medical risks, emotional stability, behavioral symptoms, the level of support at home and the family’s capacity to be part of the process.
The treatment format is determined gradually: from the initial assessment to a personal plan and a review of progress.
At the start, we analyze physical and psycho-emotional condition, medical risks, symptom severity and the person’s ability to cope with everyday demands.
It is important to understand whether there is a safe and stable environment outside the center. If support is insufficient, a more intensive treatment format may be recommended.
Depending on the person’s condition, the team may recommend inpatient care, day treatment or outpatient treatment. Each level has a different intensity of support.
The treatment format is not fixed forever. If the condition stabilizes, support may become less intensive. If risks increase, the level of care may be strengthened.
The exact treatment format, duration and intensity level are determined after diagnosis and team assessment of the condition.
Assesses psycho-emotional state, risks, the need for medical monitoring and possible medication support.
Works with anxiety, control, emotional instability, body image and behavioral patterns.
Helps gradually restore a safe eating routine and supports changes without pressure or shame.
Recovery programs
The initial recovery assessment at Redefine is available in two formats: Online Recovery Assessment and Comprehensive Recovery Assessment at the center. Both formats help evaluate the person’s condition, risk level and recommended recovery format.
The online initial recovery assessment helps analyze the course of the eating disorder, evaluate emotional state, risk level, support needs and define the recommended format of care.
The comprehensive in-person recovery assessment at the center allows a deeper evaluation of physical, psychoemotional, body-related and behavioral condition and helps create a personalized recovery plan.
A systematic outpatient recovery process in which the multidisciplinary team works in coordination, guides the recovery process and creates one shared recovery strategy.
An intensive outpatient recovery format for patients who need more frequent contact, support between sessions and crisis recovery-support during difficult moments of recovery.
The residential program at Redefine is a structured recovery environment for nervous system stabilization, reconnection with the body, work with eating disorder behaviors, formation of new behavioral patterns, development of self-regulation skills and a safe return to life beyond the illness.
Work with an individual specialist is possible only after the initial diagnostic consultation and provided that the patient has support from other necessary specialists outside the center.
A multidisciplinary team is important in eating disorder treatment: psychologist, dietitian and psychiatrist.
Separate consultations with different specialists at the center are not combined with each other and do not form an alternative to the outpatient program.
If the patient needs to work with several specialists within the center, this is done exclusively through outpatient programs that include coordinated team work.

Redefine is a treatment and rehabilitation center specializing in comprehensive recovery from eating disorders. We approach EDs not only as a matter of food or weight, but as a multifactorial condition where emotional state, the body, nutrition, medical support and a person’s environment all matter. The center offers a safe space where people can gradually reduce control, anxiety and tension around food, while restoring connection with themselves, their body and their own life.
